Welcome to Butler County Solid Waste District’s online recycling resource center. The District provides programs and expertise to promote recycling and waste reduction at home, at work and at school. Within this site, you will find many essential resources to help you recycle.

This year, Butler County will recognize the top residential recycling communities in Butler County through a new contest, Recycle To Win!  A monthly scorecard allows you to track your community's recycling performance throughout the year.   See "Recycle At Home" to learn more.

Resident can go “beyond the bin” by participating in special collection programs for household hazardous waste, televisions, computers, and Freon appliances — all at no charge to the homeowner.

Businesses will find resources for recycling and conservation at the "Recycle At Work" section. From waste assessments to our Pollution Prevention Intern Program, we help businesses identify environmental solutions with individualized technical assistance.

Schools can also get into the act with paper and battery recycling programs.
