Every summer, BCDES employs college-level interns as temporary contractors to help local businesses save money, improve efficiency, and further company environmental goals relating to pollution prevention (P2) and conservation.
Through the internship:
• Businesses gain an intern at minimal cost—a 25% match
of the intern’s salary is required.
• Businesses save money & increase environmental
performance.
• Students gain hands-on experience in an industrial setting.
• BCDES obtains data on successful P2 initiatives.
