Applicants should be aware that BCDES considers internal applicants first. Although we will accept outside applications and resumes for internal job postings, we review and select qualified BCDES employees first.

For non-bargaining-unit positions, BCDES may simultaneously post internally and advertise for outside applicants. We evaluate current employees alongside outside applicants.

We retain accepted applications and resumes along with the job postings and advertisements for a legally-required four-year period. Applicants must reapply for subsequent job postings and advertisements.
