2010 Hydrant Flushing Program Continues through August

BCWS will continue to flush fire hydrants through the month of August.  A list of areas to be flushed and a schedule for flushing is attached hereA map of affected areas is attached here.

Hydrant flushing is necessary to enhance water quality and reduce the occurrence of taste or odor issues. While the water will remain safe throughout the flushing process, your water may become discolored (red) or milky looking as a result of the high velocities achieved during the flushing process.
